Treasury Operations Specialist – maternity cover Join as a Treasury Operations Specialist in Citi and make your own progress in a supportive environment! This position is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity. What you will do: Foreign currency /Local currency payment processing/authorization; Deposits, Foreign Exchange processing/authorization; Interbank Foreign Exchange and Money Market processing/authorization; Proprietary and Brokerage Securities Deals support; Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience, and precedent Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed NBU reporting; Treasury reporting; To prepare monthly department proofs; Compliance with local regulations requirements, Citibank policies and US legislation when it does not contradict with local legislation requirements; Co-ordination of ongoing matters with Unit employees as well as with Treasury, Payments, Internal Control and CitiService; Preparation and update of Unit’s procedures; New employees’/back-ups trainings; Business Object reports development; Frequent participation in automation projects and PVT testing; To ensure smooth running of Unit’s processes in Supervisor’s absence. Perform other duties requested by Employer. Ideal background: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience High level of responsibility Good verbal & written English and Ukrainian Previous relevant experience preferred Experience in international payments system (SWIFT) is desirable; Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations Knowledge in NBU reporting is desirable; Knowledge of accounting in Interbank, Corporate FX/MM operations/Operations with Securities, Brokerage and Deposits Operations is desirable Effective verbal and written skills Effective communication and analytical skills Working at Citi is far more than just a job.
