Infopulse invites talented professionals to join our growing team as a QA Engineer for our Irish project in the Banking/Finance field. Areas of Responsibility: Control over QA processes quality as a direct member of a Client’s Quality Control Team Independent work under different Projects Taking responsibility over Testing Process on a Project Constant improvement of existing test cases following best practices Create and execute all manual test cases (including regression) Create and maintain traceability matrix Provide input as per best practice (estimating, designing, developing and executing test cases) Retrieve & review test scenarios from various teams and takes ownership of all types of testing performed Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Manage priorities and set expectations when faced with many demanding tasks Develop understanding of client projects and procedures to support testing across the application(s)/system(s) Ensure high levels of test coverage across all our product suites and platforms Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent educational, or professional experience and/or qualifications Proven experience as a QA tester or in a similar role Strong writing and speaking skills of communication in English Ability to write test cases in a quality manner Excellent attention to detail and a mind-set to do things right the first time In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles is a must (experience in Agile methodologies will be a strong advantage) Strong communication, technical, and remote collaboration skills are a must Ability to effectively conduct technical discussions directly with Project/Product management Excellent team collaboration skills Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude ISTQB certification is an asset Will be an advantage: ISTQB certification SOAP and RESTful Web Services testing Jenkins JSON, XML SQL/DB expertise JIRA, Zendesk knowledge TestRail experience Agile/Scrum methodologies
