Area of responsibilities: Deputizing and substituting for Senior SRMA in all SRM duties when required Acting as the main in-country SRM advisor to the CD and S-SRMA Implementing and overseeing safety/security at CO, ensuring the MSS are satisfied Advising/coordinating the tasks of other N-SRMAs and SFPs in GIZ UA when required Providing political/security Assessments (written and verbal) for country-level meetings Maintaining the Emergency Mass Notification System (EMNS) database for GIZ UA Ensuring timely EMNS Alerts and security advice is sent to relevant GIZ UA staff Tracking and reporting on all “business travels” according to the S-SRMA/CD’s guidance Lead on RMO’s digital resources, maintaining the RMO’s SharePoint portals and mapping Ensuring mandatory Security Briefings are delivered to ALL new staff and visitors When required, conducting Roundtables (virtual & off-line) to keep relevant staff updated Monitoring GIZ Emergency Number and when necessary assisting AMA/EH with local liaison Ensuring Emergency Number is transferred to a Cluster SFP/N-SRMA) when on leave/trainings Overseeing all Site Security Assessments (SSAs) and annual SSA Reviews by Feb each year Main point of contact for supporting all Security Focal Points (SFPs) in their duties Coordinating SRM trainings when required by S-SRMA: 1st Aid, Fire Safety, HEAT, EORE Overseeing RMO administration and procurement by coordinating with the CO Finance Unit When required, escorting business travels to any regions according to S-SRMA’s guidance Overseeing Hibernation; Relocation and Evacuation (HRE) planning for all GIZ UA offices Maintaining networks with UA security agencies and security staff of IOs, NGOs, embassies Requirements: University degree; preferably in a Social Science-related field 4 — 5 years of experience with increasingly responsible roles in Crisis Management / SRM positions in an IO / I-NGO. Experience in GIZ SRM is highly advantageous Provable; recent experience in conducting Site Security Assessments is essential Intimate knowledge of current regional and national political and security context is essential Demonstrable knowledge and existing security-related networks; including in eastern UA Information analysis as well as producing security assessments in very good written English Coordinating safety trainings; such as Fire Safety; First Aid; and HEAT is essential Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel; Word and Powerpoint and TEAMS is essential Excellent knowledge and experience with MS SharePoint and electronic mapping Very good spoken and written English language skills is essential and German desirable Provable self-organizational skills in high-tempo risk management scenarios Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a ‘service mentality’. Employment conditions Full time position with 40-hours working week. Place of assignment is Kyiv. The contract duration is 1 year. Prolongation is possible. Starting as soon as possible.
